ORTHODOX STANCE is director Jason Hutt’s winning portrait of Dmitriy “Star of David” Salita, the boxing phenomenon whose pugilistic intensity is matched only by his commitment to Orthodox Judaism. The son of Ukrainian emigres, Dmitriy rose to prominence in Brooklyn’s urban boxing gyms, won the prestigious New York Golden Gloves amateur title and soon turned pro.
