B&H settles discrimination suit, agrees to pay $4.3 million

B&H Photo-Video, a world famous camera store known for the traditional Hasidic dress worn by many of its employees, has agreed to pay $4.3 million (€3.04 million) to settle a discrimination case.The federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which enforces laws prohibiting discrimination, alleges that B&H Photo and Electronics Corp. paid Hispanics working in its warehouses less than others, and failed to promote them or provide health benefits. read more IHT.com
